في اثناء عودتي من عين فارة يوم اول امس الجمعة، عبر برية حزما، ووسط المستوطنات، تمكنت من تصوير عدة حيوانات برية، وزواحف من بينها هذه الافعى الجميلة، التي ظهرت لي وانا جالس على صخرة اتامل وادي السنام، وخلة الراهب، احسست بها خلفي وعندما وقفت، كانت تنتظرني لتستعرض مفاتنها، وحضر الى جانبي احد الرعاة، وابدى استغرابه من استئناسها وعدم خوفها، وبعد ان صورتها، تركتها تذهب بسلام.
في وادي السنام وخلة الراهب، تواصل حيوانات فلسطينية، ومنذ الاف السنين، تطوير علاقتها مع البيئة المحيطة، غير ابهة بتغير الناس والافكار والاديان.
